Hoy voy aprovechar para enseñaros unas fotos que hice en el 2006 y que todavía no han visto la luz.
Fueron tomadas para un cortometraje que se rodó para el festival de la semana del refugiado. Este festival se celebra cada año en Brighton y Londres durante junio. La semana del refugiado es un amplio programa de arte, cultura y eventos educativos, que celebran la contribución de los refugiados en Reino Unido y fomenta un mejor entendimiento entre comunidades.
En mi caso participé haciendo el making of de uno de los cortos que se presentaba ese año. De todas las fotos que hice, estas son las que representan mejor la atmósfera que se respiraba esos días en que estuvimos grabando.
Las primeras fotos son interesantes porque muestran la sala de proyecciones de uno de los teatros más antiguos de Inglaterra: “Duke of York” el cual sigue funcionando hasta el día de hoy.
La verdad es que, viendo estas fotos después de casi 9 años, veo el progreso que he tenido fotográficamente y me siento orgullosa y feliz de haber colaborado con tanta gente creativa durante esos 8 años que pasé en Brighton.

Today I will take the opportunity to show you some pictures I took in 2006.
They were taken for a short film that was done for the festival week refugee. This festival is held annually in Brighton and London during June. Refugee Week is an extensive program of arts, culture and educational events that celebrate the contribution of refugees in the UK and promotes a better understanding between communities.
In my case, I was involved with the making of for one short that participated in the festival that year. From all the pictures I took, these are the ones that represent better the good atmosphere of those days.
The first pictures are interesting because they show the projection room of one of the oldest theaters in England: “Duke of York” which is still running up to date.
The truth is that looking at these pictures after almost nine years, I see the progress I have done photographically and I am proud and happy to have worked with so many creative people during those eight years I spent in Brighton.
